This page explains how the Guaglio website and platform use cookies and similar technologies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work, to keep them secure, and to help us understand how the service is used.

Cookies we use

The Guaglio platform uses a minimal set of cookies, focused on functionality and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

What we do not use

Session storage

The Guaglio platform uses browser sessionStorage rather than traditional cookies for authentication. SessionStorage data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab and is not sent to the server with every request. This approach provides better privacy than persistent cookies.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies or sessionStorage, the platform may not function properly and you may not be able to sign in.

For information about managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser help pages or allaboutcookies.org.

Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies or change how we use them, we will update this page and note the date of the change.
